This was David's first Christmas to officially be a White but it was also the kids' first white Christmas....a very special one indeed!
Several people asked me what David has thought about Christmas. He has loved the lights more than anything...the simple things usually do impress the small child. It has been so fun to watch his excitement, but really the last few weeks what I have enjoyed most is his "ease." We've seen quite a few changes in his temperament allowing the whole house to enjoy the light hearted David.
We had a great time with Bunny and Pappy a few days before Christmas.

The drove home just in time to get slammed with an unusual 10 inches of snow (and ice) on Christmas!

I don't know if I've ever stayed in jammers all day on Christmas, but we did. And then the snow started to fall. It fell for several hours. The last white Christmas we had was in Rochester where the snow fell 2 feet in 24 hours. For even 1/2 inch to fall in Texas was a BIG deal!
It was for sure a memorable one.
