Hey tooth fairy...check this out!

Allie is getting into the "orthodontic" phase already. She was so crowded that her 6 year molars couldn't come down, so she's had her baby molars pulled.  The dentist held the tooth up to show me the "whopper" root that was on the tooth. YIKES! It was longer than the tooth itself!

Pass it on down

Garrett obviously does not have many things passed down from the girls.  He will be going to "school" 2 days a week REALLY SOON, and so being the third child, I just now started to think about what he might need. Allie had a nap mat several years ago that is identical to the pink one you see below....which is Mary's.  I hadn't gotten rid of it, so I "spruced it up" with boy fabric.

I'm sure Garrett REALLY COULD CARE less about his nap mat. I just hope he'll stay on it! To my sewing friends, Beth Ann and Gretchen....DON'T look too close. You wouldn't be proud or impressed!

Now that it's done....I can "Rest" easy:)

Oh well

A new friend asked me to take some pics of her 12 day old baby. I do like to take pics, but I've only done it for fun and for family so far, so I was a bit nervous.  I found the basket she is in at Hobby Lobby the day before and decided it was PERFECT. It was PERFECT......until I ran over it.  I set it down behind my vehicle and ran back in to get my keys.  Thankfully I had already secured my camera.  I proceeded to back up and felt that something just wasn't right.  My basket is now quite squished. Glad the pics were alright:)

Firsts

Mary started dance for the first time on Monday. She said she LOVED being a ballerina...wow it only took one lesson.

I'm still trying to figure out this new blogger uploading. I can't seem to get the pictures right.

Allie started second grade. She had no complaints starting back, so we are all set for another great year.

The pic below is the first day of first grade.

Ok I seriously need to vary from the "first day theme". I didn't even know I had one...red and khaki!

The biggest difference is in her teeth! Oh how I miss those baby teeth!

Back from the beach

I have a few pictures to sort through. We had a great time at the beach with my family and did the annual  and obligatory family pic:)

Still summer

We are squeezing all our little getaways in before school gets here. Last week, we made a quick run to my parents to visit with my grandparents. The kids LOVE LOVE going.

Cousin pic. We braved the heat and took them for Icees and the big zoo in town:) Garrett yelled at the monkeys. I think he wanted to be in their cage.

There's a sweet pic of Anna Kate.

Beautiful! We don't visit without picking alot of flowers from Dee Da's garden. The kids went without me this time. I don't know how Dee Da stands the heat! They brought back cucumbers, tomatoes, and these beautiful flowers.

Love my sweet grandparents. I'm so blessed.

Haircut

Mary does not have "long hair" hair. I have given it a good effort and decided to have it cut today. She wanted to keep it long, but when she looked in the mirror, I got a smile much like the one you see here.

Funny girl:)

Grab your glove

Mary has enjoyed sitting on the couch watching baseball this summer....WHO DOES THAT?????

When she asked her daddy to take her out to the ball game, he was on the computer buying tickets in a snap.

She had no idea there would be popcorn and cotton candy...a perfect night.

...and to find out her BFF was going... the cherry on the top:)

Who knows what that's about?

That looks really safe.... That's aLOT of sugar for 4 kids in one night..or 5 kids if you include the guy in the middle.
